Pompeii The Sequel - July 2022
All eyes are on the second half of July as THE aspect of the year explodes into our consciousness, to provide opportunities for chaos, crazy times, and then the peace and love that brings enlightenment.
A Door Slamming Entrance: 1st – 5th July
Mars the God of War, squaring up to deadly Pluto, on the USA Pluto Return point, is the kick start to July that flavours the whole month with heart-stopping alarm. This could be the kick in the guts to the corporate style patriarchy and more poisonous programming that makes up our current reality. It could be the push to the exit sign you need to eject yourself out of a situation, so do not fear this challenge. Mars square Pluto is a ferocious and fearsome force on the first day of July and is quickly followed by a change of sign by two planets on 5th, so the force of this square will reverberate powerfully with a palpable change of scene. Mercury moves into Cancer for better empathy and kind words, whilst Mars then moves into Taurus, to give planet earth and humanity a door slamming entrance that grabs everyone’s attention. Welcome to the madhouse that is July.
Pluto Return For Americanaaah: 11th July
On 11th, America gets its second hit of its Pluto Return as the deadly planet retrogrades back onto its natal spot of 1776 and of course, very close to its 4th of July birthday. So this ‘celebration’ has the potential to reveal some fractures in the foundations, that could bring this section of the house down. It’s like celebrating Thanksgiving with the realisation that this land is stolen, or Memorial Day, knowing that governments create war to make money. Something is amiss and the Pluto Return will find it. This Pluto Return is the retrograde section of three conjunctions, like a truck reversing back over its victim. We get the third hit in December, so these intense rumblings of Americanaaah and the foundations of The West are opening up deep fissures down to the core.
Pluto Full Moon: 13th, 16th and 20thJuly
Whilst these cracks are widening, forcing poison up from the corporate and political underworld of Capricorn’s business themes, the Full Moon on 13th, sits on dark Lord Pluto, shining a scintillating moon-beam of brilliance down into these hidden depths. The whole horror house of corruption, Pluto’s favourite theme, will be on show and this means we will see what’s corroding the world from the inside, the dark rotting mess of it all. Mercury opposes Pluto on 16th and the Sun on 20th (with the Moon in t-square), repeatedly forcing the issue, like a flashlight going back to the same point: the evolution that dominant Pluto always engineers will be upon us and there is no going back.
Blowing The Doors Off: 22nd to 31st July
When Leo season starts on 22nd, with Mercury and the Sun in Leo immediately vibing with expansive Jupiter in Aries, the two fire signs will set off fire-crackers of fun, love and swathes of self-sovereignty which Leo is well known for. The Leo love vibes will stay strong which is really heartening to know since the major conjunction between the North Node and Uranus starts to fizz and pop from 27th. Staying open hearted is essential to at least enjoy what is about to pan out as the year’s biggest aspect levers open energetic portals that take planet earth and mankind through into the next dimension, or at least the next phase of existence. The North Node is our destiny point, highlighting the future, and in Taurus, it is opening doorways for our beautiful earth to grow through. Now that the North Node meets crazy-ass planet Uranus, humanity has a massive opportunity to step right through into a new epoch. The electrifying element of Uranus shifts humanity towards enlightenment and brings cosmic frequencies and higher thought forms down to earthly Taurus, this means ‘to us’ on planet earth! These cosmic vibes enhance our connection to ascended states to help humanity evolve, even when Uranus’s curve balls seem completely incomprehensible and outrageous. Uranus’s last sojourn in Taurus brought us nuclear fusion power, so there are many outcomes to what this sizzling meeting with the North Node will bring (5G for instance). The power of this collision will not be missed by anyone, because Mars, the fighting, fearsome dynamo joins the volcanic eruption the pair create when they are exact on 31st, in a “You Were Only Supposed To Blow The Bloody Doors Off!” moment. Get your crash helmets ready.
Fires of Pompeii: 28th July
Whilst the fires of Pompeii are burning, the Leo New Moon on 28th is a reminder to remain heart-centred and courageous during such cataclysmic times. Be loving, be brave; this lion-hearted New Moon will have Jupiter’s blessing, as the planet of expansion is in an easy flowing connection to this lunation, igniting new ideas, new love and new passion. Yet as they connect and the Moon is in darkness, Jupiter in fiery Aries, chooses this moment to go retrograde, pulling at our very power centres, inviting us all to stand up and proclaim our rights (as Aries increases personal power). Let the Leo New Moon help keep you focused on your heart’s desires, whilst all about you is losing their head – they will be - since Aries rules the head.
